Work experience

2006-2009 – During three years of working in the competitive field of freelance editing in Hollywood, CA built a loyal clientele of television producers and independent filmmakers. Edited and color corrected over 60 shows and films for television, web and theatrical distribution. Received Indie Fest 2008 Award of Merits for editing feature comedy Becoming Pony Boy.

2004-2006 – As Chief Editor of Info TV in Las Vegas, NV edited and supervised post-production of range of episodic television shows. Supervised a team of freelance editors. Created more efficient post-production workflow and initiated and oversaw technical re-equipment of company.

2002-2004 – Created and run successful event videography business in Las Vegas, NV. Personally and with partners videotaped and edited numerous infomercials, TV commercials, educational programs and event videos.

2002-2009 – Written, directed and produced several short films which screened on various film festivals. Awarded for Best Director and Best Short at Las Vegas Short Film Festival 2004. Nominated for Best Director at Las Vegas 48 Hour Film Project 2005.

2006-2009 – Acquired two professional certificates in entertainment studies from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA Extension).

2004-2006 – Attended College of Southern Nevada working toward BFA degree in Film and Video program. Founded CCSN Film Club, a non-profit organization with the mission of popularizing filmmaking among non-film college students. Together with 40 members studied process of filmmaking and created dozens of short films, many of which acquired festival recognition.
